Code of Conduct

We expect that our pupils are punctual and ready to commence their lesson at given times. Good attendance is essential to keep up with class training and is extremely important if a student is entered for an examination.

Pupils must be correctly attired for class with Uniform and shoes. Hair must be tied back neatly in a bun or ponytail and if short a hairband should be worn. Jewellery is not allowed in any class.

Fees should be paid in full by the date advised on an invoice at the start of each term. Fees paid after this date will incur a 10% administration charge.

Parents are asked to give one term’s notice, in writing, when withdrawing a child as there is often a waiting list for classes.

Privacy Policy

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation the following is an outline of how we use the personal data you share with us.

We will ask for:

• Name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Child’s Name
• Child’s date of birth
• Any medical conditions child may have

We require these details to manage your enrolment at our Dance classes under the name Freedom and Form Dance Training (Jenna Walker) and will only hold them for the duration you are enrolled with the school.

The information will be held on a cloud based server under password protection and Hard copies of information will be stored in a locked unit accessed only by Jenna Walker.

How we use this information

Your email address is required to keep you updated with essential class information (such as changes to times, venues etc), news of any of our events, shows and exciting opportunities for our dancers. We also use email to send our Invoices each term via Thinksmart Software, a cloud based server hosted in the UK and not outside of the EEA.

Telephone number and address is required in the unlikely event that your child falls ill or injures themselves in our care and we feel the need to contact you before the end of a lesson.

If you wish to enter your child for an examination with Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and Royal Academy of Dance we will share your child’s details with them for the purposes of registration and allocation of PIN number.

Photography

Only with consent (given on enrolment form), photographs and videos of our pupils may be used on Social Media pages, our website and marketing materials.

Freedom and Form will not publish or share your confidential data with any other third parties than mentioned herein.

It is important that if any of your personal information changes you inform us immediately so we can update our records this includes change of address, telephone number or email address.
